We are looking for a Construction Manager within Track and Geodetic Surveying Technology for the Swedish Transport Administration's projects Track and Switch Replacement Hillared–Bor as well as Passing Track Lekarekulle.

This is a consultancy assignment. The place of work is Gothenburg.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

In this role, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring work within track and geodetic surveying technology throughout the entire project – from design to production. You ensure that the contract is carried out in accordance with the contract, regulatory requirements, permits, budget, and set quality requirements. You also act as the Swedish Transport Administration's representative on the construction site and provide support to the project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the project's work within track and geodetic surveying technology.
• Review the contractor's and consultant's documentation, drawings, competence, and execution.
• Ensure that the contract is carried out in accordance with the contract, documents, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor quality, time, controls, self-inspections, and report on the project's status.
• Coordinate construction site monitoring, handle deviations, and participate in design, construction, and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with authorities, contractors, designers, property owners, and other technical areas.
• Participate in inspections, meetings, and be responsible for the project's final documentation.

We are looking for someone who is clear, goal-oriented, and engaged, has high integrity, and is skilled at building good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Location: Swedish Transport Administration's office on Vikingsgatan in Gothenburg. Presence at the work site is required during preliminary work.
• Equipment: Category B driver's license, personal car, and own equipment for controlling survey data in the field are required.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious

1. The consultant must have at least 5 years of experience working within railway projects in the design and production phases as responsible for track design and geodetic surveying technology.

2. The consultant must hold a "CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE for Surveying Work in the Swedish Transport Administration", competence level 1.

3. The consultant must provide at least one reference assignment for track replacement of at least 20 km where they worked as responsible track designer/technical manager (TA). The assignment must have been carried out within the last seven years with a contract sum of at least 100 million SEK.

4. The consultant must provide at least two reference assignments for track replacement where they worked as Construction Manager/Deputy Project Manager/Construction Site Monitor/Foreman for geodetic surveying technology in the production phase. The assignments must have been carried out within the last seven years with a contract sum of at least 100 million SEK.

5. The consultant must master Swedish and English in speech and writing.

6. The consultant must hold a driver's license covering at least category "B".

7. TRVK APV TDOK 2012:86 at least level 2.

8. Construction Environment Coordinator (BAS-P/U).

9. BASÄSKYDD – Protection and Safety Management for work in track areas.

10. Stability-affecting work in tracks – BASTAB.
