Description

Lokatten is a supported housing facility within social psychiatry, consisting of ten apartments – a calm place where relationships, structure, and small progress make a big difference. Here live individuals with persistent mental illness, commonly with neuropsychiatric diagnoses, schizophrenia, and often co-occurring disorders, requiring safe, individualized, and long-term support in daily life.

Here, you will become an important part of a warm and dedicated team working every day to strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and opportunities for a more meaningful life.

Responsibilities

As a housing support worker, your primary task is to support and strengthen individuals with persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders. You work closely with the residents, helping them create structure, develop independence, and build the prerequisites for a safe and meaningful life.

In this role, you work both practically and relationally by providing daily support, motivating healthy lifestyle habits, and strengthening the resident's own resources and abilities. The role also involves nursing care and medical tasks as delegated.

You work with motivational interviewing and a low-affective approach. As a key worker for specific residents, you create implementation plans and document according to IBIC standards. Collaboration with other healthcare providers and participation in care planning are important parts of the assignment.

The role also includes contributing to a safe and pleasant living environment by participating in cleaning and cooking in common areas.

Qualifications

  • Education as a care assistant, treatment assistant, assistant nurse, or other equivalent education.
  • Supplementary education in MI (Motivational Interviewing), AP (Action Planning), ESL, and CM.
  • Professional experience in psychiatric care, social psychiatry, social work, and addiction.
  • Knowledge and experience in low-affective interaction.
  • Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with documentation.
  • Proficiency in digital documentation and IT support.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Education as a specialist assistant nurse in psychiatry is considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with a big heart, dedication, and a strong desire to make a difference. You are self-assured, flexible, and have the ability to build good relationships. Personal suitability for the role is of great importance.
