About the role

As a Production Engineer within Pressing, you will work practically and data-driven in our production facility in Gimo. The role involves close collaboration with operators, technicians, and other engineers, where you translate observations and data into stable and efficient working methods in daily operations.

Your responsibilities

• Improve and further develop production with a focus on quality, productivity, and availability.
• Ensure optimal function of the machinery through troubleshooting, preventive work, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure and maintain process parameters and production data in our support systems.
• Participate in the upgrade and replacement of machines and equipment to ensure stable operation.
• Take over new products and equipment into production in development and change projects.

Location

The position is located in Gimo, and the work takes place on-site in the production area.

Your profile

You have a technical background and thrive in a practical, industrial environment where safety, order, and responsibility are a natural part of everyday life.

We also look for:

• Good technical understanding of machines, process parameters, and production flows.
• Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in pressing, machining, or process improvements is an advantage.
• It is a plus if you have worked with root cause analysis, machine upgrades, or new installations.

You are proactive, solution-oriented, and curious about how things really work. With an analytical approach, you combine data, observations, and experience to create sustainable solutions. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you build trust through clear communication and presence in the production area.

Your new team

You will become part of a team of technicians and engineers who collaborate closely between press tool manufacturing and pressing. The role is an important bridge between the areas and requires dialogue and collaboration in everyday life. There are different backgrounds and experiences here, and the culture is characterized by drive, helpfulness, and a desire to try new things and learn from each other – close to the production.
