Together with the City Environment Administration, the Development Administration and the City Planning Administration, we have a coordinated responsibility for urban development in the City of Gothenburg. This means a shared distribution of responsibilities and roles based on stages: planning, implementation and management with the aim of contributing to a cohesive, efficient and transparent urban development for residents, visitors and businesses in the city.

Job Description

We in the Management and Property Development department are responsible for ensuring the sustainable usability of the properties over time with good technical status and satisfied customers. This is achieved through close collaboration with the customer, the administration's other departments, partners and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for ordering the implementation of new and renovation construction, planned maintenance measures, repairs and ongoing supervision and maintenance of the administration's execution departments. We are in an exciting development phase where the department is moving towards a clearer strategic role, with primary responsibility for development, support, control and follow-up in the field of technology and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a key player in maintenance planning and strategic property planning at the City Property Management. You are responsible for follow-up, development and quality assurance of maintenance plans as well as working methods and methods within the area.

You coordinate the work of the unit's maintenance planners and other functions within the administration that perform maintenance assessments. You support the maintenance planners and other relevant functions in producing an annual assessment plan and follow up on deliveries of assessments, nomination materials, need descriptions and reporting back on implemented measures.

The role involves close collaboration with maintenance planners, managers, project managers and experts, where you act as support in planning and development. You are also involved in process development and are part of the process team for the processes planned maintenance and analyze, plan and order. In the role, you are also responsible for follow-up and reporting of key figures.

You will also be a close support to your unit manager, other managers and technical strategic functions in both operational and strategic matters. In addition, you are responsible for environmental scanning and knowledge dissemination within the maintenance area and collaborate with the property strategist.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are well versed in the property or construction industry and have good knowledge of strategic maintenance planning. You have a relevant university education or equivalent long-term experience assessed as equivalent. Experience of process development and property economics is meritorious.

You place great importance on communication and have an easy time creating trust and involvement in others. With a solution-oriented approach, you are sensitive to the needs of both the organization and the customer and work from a tenant and service perspective. Experience of coordinating and leading groups is meritorious.

In your work, you are self-reliant and enjoy switching between different tasks. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience of property systems in general, and especially Pythagoras, is meritorious. To thrive in the role, we see that you have a genuine interest in properties.

A B driver's license is required for this position.
