About the role of Business Project Manager

As a Business Project Manager for Large Customer Connections, you are responsible for the business process towards customers such as industries, data centers, wind and solar parks, energy storage, and grid companies regarding new or expanded electricity grid connections to Ellevio's regional grid. In your role, you work closely with the customer, building good personal relationships, often interacting with management teams and other decision-makers within the customer's organization. As a Business Project Manager, you put the customer's needs at the center and collaborate closely with your knowledgeable colleagues to develop technical and business solutions.

You are responsible for the internal process of drawing up agreements, profitability calculations, and driving investment proposals to decision. You lead and hold together the internal team for the specific business project and guide it to agreement, after which you maintain the business process with the customer until the final electricity grid connection is completed.

To fit and thrive in the role

In the role of Business Project Manager, we look for someone with a genuine interest and sensitivity towards our customers and how we solve their needs. You have a good ability to think new and different ways within given frameworks regarding technology, economics, and working methods. Since you handle several parallel business projects with many contact points, it is important that you are a good team player who creates engagement among all involved parties. Furthermore, a good technical understanding is required, as well as the ability to adapt your communication to different counterparts and contexts.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant post-secondary education, e.g., an engineering degree, which in some cases can be compensated by longer professional experience.
• After studies, you have several years of experience from a relevant role within energy, electricity grid, electricity market, or have been technically commercially responsible for projects in a comparable industry.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, are required.
