Social Media Manager / Content Creator at GameShop – Stockholm

GameShop is an established family business with roots dating back to the 1990s. We are specialists in video games, gaming, merchandise, gadgets, collectibles, and accessories within gaming and entertainment. At our store, customers can find everything from classic Nintendo 64 products to the latest games and accessories for the PlayStation 5.

We operate both an e-commerce platform and a highly regarded physical store at Sveavägen 14 in Stockholm. We are now looking for a creative and driven person to help us develop our presence on social media, primarily on TikTok and Instagram.

About the Role

As a Social Media Manager / Content Creator at GameShop, you will work with creating, producing, and publishing content for our social media channels. This role is perfect for you if you are creative, enjoy projects and entertainment, and have an eye for what works on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories.

You will be involved in brainstorming ideas, filming material in the store, editing content, planning publications, and interacting with our followers and customers online.

This is a flexible part-time position that fits perfectly as a side job or alongside your studies.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create content for GameShop's social media channels
• Film and produce material in and around the store
• Edit videos, images, and other creative content
• Publish content on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
• Plan content and contribute to social media strategy
• Follow trends and find new creative ideas
• Interact with customers and followers via comments, messages, and posts
• Help strengthen GameShop's brand online

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, self-motivated, and eager to develop within content creation, social media, and digital marketing. You don't need to know everything from the start, but you must have a strong interest in social media and understand the type of content that engages audiences.

To fit the role, we would like you to:

• Be creative and full of ideas
• Understand TikTok, Instagram, and modern social media platforms
• Enjoy filming, creating, and editing content
• Be comfortable testing new ideas and following trends
• Be responsible and able to work independently
• Have a desire to develop and learn more
• Be able to visit our store at Sveavägen 14 in Stockholm at least once a week

Experience with content creation, video editing, TikTok, Instagram, or similar is a plus, but the most important thing is that you have the right feel, drive, and creativity.
