We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs teacher and are driven by making a difference, to join Mariedalsskolan.

Mariedalsskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 240 students in central Timrå.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between the student's needs and the classroom's requirements. You work closely with the teachers to implement strategies that make a difference.
• Guide colleagues in adaptations and special support to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide direct support to students, both individually and in groups.
• Plan and evaluate special educational interventions individually and together with others so that students can achieve their full potential and develop as far as possible.
• Develop the work teams' preventive student health work so that good relationships, suitable learning tools, working methods, and tasks are used based on the students' needs.
• Be part of the Student Health Team and drive preventive and health-promoting work.
• Collaborate closely with special needs teachers and other colleagues.
• Contribute to the school's systematic quality work.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher with a special needs teacher degree and have good knowledge of mathematics, language, reading, and writing acquisition.
• Have a positive outlook where you believe that all students can and want to succeed.
• Have a solution-focused and flexible attitude.
• Are skilled at building trusting relationships with students.
• Possess good analytical skills to follow up and evaluate interventions.
• Take initiative to get the school's students to succeed.
• Are good at organizing your work, keeping schedules, and are well-acquainted with the school's governing documents.
• See people's differences as an asset.

Conditions

Teacher certification for elementary school and a special needs teacher degree are required.

Teacher certification and special needs teacher degree must be presented at any interview.

The position is a fixed-term employment with holiday service.

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
