About the Role

Lincona is growing and is now looking for an experienced Calculation Engineer who wants to help develop our construction projects within the building sector. This role is perfect for you if you have a solid understanding of load-bearing structures and wish to work with technical calculations, sizing, and design solutions in various construction projects.

As a Calculation Engineer at Lincona, you will work with sizing, load calculations, static calculations, and technical assessments of load-bearing structures in materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and foundations. You will become a key part of the projects, contributing safe, efficient, and well-thought-out solutions from early stages to final documentation.

Responsibilities

As a Calculation Engineer with us, you will work with tasks such as:

• Sizing and control of load-bearing structures
• Load calculations and structural calculations
• Development and review of technical solutions
• Calculations within steel, concrete, timber, and foundations
• Technical support to project engineers, building constructors, and clients
• Participation in design from early stages to completed construction documents
• Ensuring that structures meet current requirements, norms, and standards

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience as a Calculation Engineer, Building Constructor, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of sizing load-bearing structures
• Experience with structural calculations according to Eurocodes and Swedish application rules
• Strong analytical skills and good problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility
• Good teamwork skills and experience working in project teams

It is an advantage if you have experience in several material areas, such as timber, steel, concrete, and foundations.
