The Operations

Hemgården is a special housing facility for the elderly in Skinnskatteberg Municipality. Here you will find the departments Granen and Furan, as well as the short-term care facility Viljan. There are a total of 24 apartments distributed across the departments Granen and Furan, as well as 10 short-term care places at Viljan. At Hemgården, we work in teams with several different professional groups such as care assistants, assistant nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, administrators, and unit managers.

Responsibilities

The work as a care assistant with us involves providing support and services based on the user's individual needs and ensuring that the user receives good care. Main responsibilities include helping with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, meals, etc., based on individual needs, performing health and medical care interventions, performing service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc., and working and documenting in various systems.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have nursing education and/or experience working within care and social services.

It is an advantage if you are trained as an assistant nurse.

You are flexible and enjoy having varied tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability; you have an empathetic approach and are good at creating and maintaining good relationships. As a person, you are responsive, positive, and proactive. You have the ability to put the user at the center and communicate clearly. As a person, you also appreciate collaboration with others.

Since we in care and social services have documentation requirements, written routines and instructions, as well as oral handovers, it is important that you can express yourself freely in Swedish, both in speech and writing.

Working Hours/Duration

The positions are two temporary assignments expected to last approximately one year each. Access to the positions will take place in July/August. Before employment, an extract from the criminal record must be presented.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
