We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in calculations!

Tikab is now looking for an experienced designer for our Mechanical Design and Calculation division, where the focus is on calculation and design within infrastructure, railway, or the power industry.

About the role:

You will be part of a competent and close-knit team where you work broadly with mechanical design and strength calculations.

In this role, you will drive your own customer assignments in parallel with larger projects together with specialists with long experience in mechanics and calculations.

The work involves:

• Design/problem-solving supported by 3D-CAD and production documentation
• Design calculations and structural analysis using FEM, MBS, and CAD tools
• Ongoing contact and coordination with customers
• Participation in scouting new technology and developing internal working methods

We currently work on projects primarily for industrial customers and other consulting companies with technology-intensive assignments within infrastructure, rail traffic, and the power industry.

Qualifications:

You who apply must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• University or Civil Engineer degree with a focus on mechanical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a designer. Preferably within infrastructure, railway, or the power industry
• Documented practical experience in calculation using Ansys or similar systems
• Very good knowledge of 3D-CAD and drawing production
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Merits

• Previous experience from the consulting industry
• Category B driver's license
