Our maternity patients are cared for on both Ward 23 and Ward 25, and we work closely together, meaning you can care for postnatal patients on both wards. Ward 25 also has antenatal patients from gestational week 22 onwards. Ward 23 cares for gynecological patients and runs a gynecological emergency clinic.

The duties include, among other things, patient care, medication management, counseling, and contact with relatives.

Registered Midwife or Nurse with experience in hospital care. We will place great emphasis on qualities such as a good approach to people, teamwork and initiative, as well as responsibility.

Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology department operates at Örebro University Hospital, Lindesberg Hospital, and Karlskoga Hospital. We actively work to develop research within women's healthcare. At Örebro University Hospital, there is an obstetric section with specialized maternity care and fetal diagnostics, a delivery ward, and a maternity/postnatal ward. The gynecological section provides open, closed, and emergency gynecological care. There is also a fertility unit and an operating department.
