Then you should apply for our open position as Coordinator at Apotekarsocieteten's Association Support! The position is a 50% fixed-term contract for a study leave replacement. We welcome your application!
About the Employer - Apotekarsocieteten
Apotekarsocieteten is an association with roots dating back to the 17th century, promoting knowledge and competence development within the pharmaceutical field. Apotekarsocieteten has members from various professions organized into groups, divided by different subject areas and regions.
Currently, we have 11 local branches across Sweden, 14 scientific sections, and three interdisciplinary interest groups. Together, we work to drive important issues, create networks, and arrange lectures and other educational activities.
Our office, lecture hall, and meeting rooms are located on Wallingatan in Stockholm. Here, we run the educational company Läkemedelsakademin, the online magazine Läkemedelsvärlden, Apotekarsocieteten's museum, and a library.
Apotekarsocieteten is a key consultative body for numerous authorities and plays an active role in many investigations and opinion-forming issues aimed at strengthening the Life Science sector in Sweden.
The Association Support supports Apotekarsocieteten's voluntary membership organization, which spreads knowledge about medicines and medical technology and serves as a network. The Association Support also collaborates with other parts of the association to maximize benefits for our members and colleagues.
About the Role
As a communicative and service-oriented coordinator, you will be one of several employees who serve as the face to all members and participants at our events. You will support our members and elected officials before, during, and after implemented activities. The role involves marketing activities via our website and social media, meaning you need experience working with digital systems and the ability to quickly learn new ones.
Our new coordinator wants to develop the voluntary part of Apotekarsocieteten together with colleagues and members. The coordinator also supports elected officials in matters related to association democracy, such as annual meetings and board meetings.
We have goal-oriented working hours, which implies evening work when our members have evening events, but also flexibility and the possibility of remote work when the operations allow it.
About You
We are looking for a communicative and service-oriented person who wants to help develop the voluntary part of Apotekarsocieteten together with colleagues. You are accustomed to working independently and structured with your tasks but also enjoy collaborating with others.
You have experience in customer service and administrative tasks, and preferably hold a university degree in a field relevant to the position.
The role requires good digital competence, as the work involves working and developing in, for example, our CRM system Lime, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, web publishing, and social media.
It is an advantage if you already have knowledge of the pharmaceutical field and understanding of the industry, as well as experience in voluntary work. It is also advantageous if you have experience and interest in working with various digital media, such as video content. Documented knowledge in social media communication is also a plus.
Requirements
- Good digital competence and computer literacy in, among other things, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Teams
- Good experience with customer service
- Extensive experience with administrative tasks
- Experience from website development and customer databases
- Competence in marketing across different channels
- Experience in project work and leading projects
- Good knowledge of English and Swedish in speech and writing
- An outgoing manner and ability to engage people and build networks are required, as the work involves many contacts and relationship building is an important part of the role
