Korsängsskolan is looking for an engaged and confident student assistant who wants to support students in their learning, social development, and daily school life. We are looking for you who want to work closely with students and, together with the school staff, create the best conditions for security, participation, and goal achievement.

Korsängsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 with just over 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, covering parts of the town center and, to some extent, the countryside. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then; additions and renovations have been made over the years. The school is popular with high demand, and most students attend Korsängsskolan for all their 10 years of schooling.

We work to ensure that all students succeed based on their prerequisites. We value good relationships, high adult presence, and a safe learning environment where students can develop both academically and socially.

Job Responsibilities

As a student assistant, you work to support one or more students during the school day based on their individual needs. You are an important adult who contributes to structure, motivation, and security in both teaching and social situations.

• support students in teaching situations
• help with structure and clarity during the school day
• promote students' independence and social development
• collaborate with teachers, special educational staff, and guardians
• contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
• support students during transitions, breaks, and other social contexts

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• have experience working with children and young people
• are calm, confident, and have a professional approach
• have a good ability to build relationships and trust
• are flexible and can adapt your working method to the student's needs
• enjoy collaborating and contributing to a positive work climate

It is meritorious if you have education in child and youth care, pedagogy, or experience working with students in need of special support.
