Backatorpsskolan is a popular, non-profit independent school located in a beautiful natural area on Hisingen. The school has high demand and currently has 340 students from preschool class to grade six. 170 children attend our after-school center, which offers stimulating activities. A highly experienced and dedicated staff of 55 educators develops the work at the school under the leadership of the principal.

Special education teachers and after-school educators also work in each work team. In addition, the school has a full-time librarian and an outdoor pedagogue.

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher with the qualification to teach grades 4–6. You are stable, secure, and have self-awareness. You communicate clearly and collaborate well with both students and adults. Your planning of work is structured and efficient. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You have a good ability to lead and organize your work so that a secure learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation is created. You assess and adapt your teaching based on the effect of different strategies and involve the student in the planning so that the student's ability to learn develops.

We are looking for you who can work 100%. Your role as a teacher involves leading the pedagogical work together with the rest of the work team. In your work, you have a clear focus on the student, see the competent child, are engaged in pedagogical development work, are focused on your students succeeding based on the goals of the curriculum, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You are clear and goal-oriented, and you believe it is important to have a good relationship with all students, parents, and colleagues. In your work, you are positive and have a great ability to collaborate.
