We are now looking for a Barception employee for the summer at Bar Vanilla – a combined role within the bar, reception, and breakfast service.

The position averages around 4 shifts per week, including every other weekend. Barception shifts are approximately 14:00–20:00, and breakfast shifts are approximately 07:00–12:30.

About the role

Here, you are a key part of the guest experience – from the first "hello" at the reception to the evening drink at the bar and the morning coffee at breakfast.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• welcoming and assisting hotel guests
• working in the barception/reception
• serving and preparing breakfast
• selling drinks and simple food items
• creating a warm and personal atmosphere
• handling multiple tasks simultaneously

As the bar is in a startup phase, we are looking for someone who is not only service-minded but also enjoys sales, takes initiative, and contributes to developing the business.

We are looking for someone who:

• is social, positive, and professional
• is self-reliant and comfortable working independently
• can make own decisions and solve problems on the spot
• enjoys a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple tasks
• has a sense for service and sales

Previous experience from hotel reception, bar, restaurant, or café is advantageous. It is a requirement that you are available to work for the entire summer. Of course, we can accommodate a few days of leave, but not longer periods.
