Murbergsskolan is looking for a teacher in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language
Murbergsskolan is a primary school (grades 3-6) with two and three parallel classes, catering to approximately 230 students. In addition to the primary school, there is an after-school center.
We are now looking for you who are qualified to teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language.
About the position
As a teacher at Murbergsskolan, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating the operations based on the national curriculum and other governing documents.
You contribute to creating a learning environment aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and their personal growth.

Who are you?
We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher in Swedish/Swedish as a second language who wants to help develop the school's mission, goals, and methods together with colleagues in the work team. For you, it is important that students' influence, participation, and responsibility-taking are given space and developed in the teaching.
You are a certified teacher and have experience in pedagogical work. You thrive in a multilingual and multicultural school environment and work language-developing in your teaching. Your teaching is based on scientific foundation and proven experience, and you create good learning environments – pedagogically, socially, and physically – where all students are given the opportunity to develop.
You are well acquainted with the curriculum and can independently, as well as together with colleagues, plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching. You use digital tools as a natural part of teaching and see the opportunities they offer for learning and development.
We are looking for you who:
- are a certified teacher in Swedish/Swedish as a second language
- have experience in pedagogical work
- work language-developing and can meet students at different linguistic levels
- have a good ability to adapt teaching to students' different needs
- use digital tools in teaching
- have good knowledge of the curriculum and governing documents
Special educational needs competence is meritorious.
Personal qualities
We are looking for you who are confident, clear, and relationship-building in your leadership. You have a good ability to create structure, study quiet, and a positive learning environment where students are given the opportunity to succeed and develop.
Salary
Individual salary setting.
Working hours/duration
Full-time.
Fixed-term employment for the academic year 26/27 with possible extension.
Start date: 2026-08-11
