About the position
The position belongs to the Security Department within the Training Unit. Here you will work alongside senior and competent colleagues who are passionate about pedagogy and education. Together with the teaching team, you will conduct training in security protection services and security intelligence services.
Responsibilities
Your main tasks are to serve as a teacher and course commander within the framework of the Security Officer Course. Tasks in other areas, such as IT security and method support systems, may also occur.
In the role of course commander and teacher, your responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting courses, including follow-up work
- Supporting the training of security intelligence personnel, security managers, and IT security managers during professional courses for national and international operations
- Participating in the development of security service training within the Swedish Armed Forces
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field deemed suitable by the employer
- Good ability to translate operational training, literature, and materials into pedagogical lessons
- Good understanding of current regulations within security services
- Strong pedagogical skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces' security vetting process
- Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces' process for exposure of security-sensitive activities (formerly SUA)
- Previous experience in intelligence and/or security services
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Good knowledge of data communication
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone interested in a varied position with a high degree of independence and responsibility, as the role involves both administrative and practical work. Trust is very important as you will have significant personal responsibility for resolving assigned tasks. High demands will also be placed on strong pedagogical skills, as the role largely involves creating various learning situations. Structure and attention to detail are other qualities highly valued when working to develop intelligence and security services within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
