About the role

Let's start broad: This role is for you if you thrive in the landscape between technology and the customer. You are technically competent, and it is crucial that you have both experience and a deep understanding of AI from previous roles. To be clear: this does not mean you need a background as a developer – quite the opposite. We are looking for someone who loves working on problem-solving and possesses technical competence in AI. We are convinced that you may have acquired this competence in various ways. Perhaps as a developer, but just as likely as a salesperson, customer success manager, product owner, or similar.

The role is about being the technical expert in the sales process, rather than being a classic sales role. Therefore, you will not have your own sales budget or quota, but will be central to our client's growth related to the AI business, and more specifically to work with GitHub Copilot. You will support the sales team, partners, and customers through activities such as technical discovery, demos, workshops, and proof of value work.

To narrow down specifically what you will be working with:

  • Act as a technical specialist within GitHub solutions in pre-sales processes
  • Support the sales team in technical qualification and solution positioning
  • Conduct needs analysis and technical discovery with customers and partners
  • Design solutions based on GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot
  • Demonstrate how GitHub and Copilot improve developer productivity
  • Conduct demos, workshops, and technical presentations for customers and partners
  • Lead hands-on sessions within AI-assisted development and DevOps
  • Support customers in proof-of-value, onboarding, and early adoption
  • Educate partners on GitHub solutions and technical differentiation
  • Handle technical questions regarding the implementation and use of GitHub
  • Act as a technical bridge between the sales team, partners, and vendors
  • Contribute to accelerating business through technical advisory
  • Participate in go-to-market initiatives related to GitHub and AI
  • Develop pre-sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
  • Collaborate internationally across multiple markets and partner networks

 

We are looking for someone who

  • Has proven experience working successfully both close to the customer and close to the development process related to AI
  • Has extensive experience working in an advisory role where you, with technical weight, help the customer strengthen their offering through AI
  • Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English

About the employment

This is a direct recruitment. This means that we at OIO manage the recruitment process, but you will be employed by our client from day 1.
