About the job

We are looking for you who enjoy food, people, and sales and want to become part of our wonderful team at Willys Västerås Hälla! The role essentially means that you contribute to our customers being able to shop for good and sustainable food at really good prices.

Type of employment: Permanent position, 38.25 hours per week, probationary period applies.

Start date: 2026-08-10 or as agreed.

Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8 and Appendix 2, we do not hire persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the tasks.

Here is a bit more about the role:

• Together with your colleagues, you manage the varied and physically demanding daily operations of the fruit and vegetable department.
• You are responsible for sales planning, placing orders, and ensuring that the department is sales-oriented and seasonally relevant, thereby contributing to the store reaching its sales and profitability goals.
• You greet our customers with knowledge, attention to detail, and a big smile, whether the customer needs help finding a product or paying for it.

About you

Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you like to do the same. You enjoy learning new things, like being challenged, and are driven by taking on greater responsibility. You are meticulous, responsible, and have high ambitions. It is also great if you:

• Have experience working in the fruit and vegetable department in a store or equivalent valuable knowledge and are ready to take the next step in your development.
• See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
• It is an advantage if you have worked in a store or with service, but it is not a requirement.
• You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more languages than that, so if you do too, that's great!
