RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistance case worker at the Assistance Unit, you will become part of a competent and engaged work group consisting of seven experienced assistance case workers. The work group is characterized by good collaboration skills, an open climate, and strong collegial support. Here, we help each other, share knowledge and experiences, and also have a pleasant and fun time together in our daily work.

As a public authority case worker, you will become part of a team where you will have varied and challenging responsibilities. Your main tasks include:

• Receiving applications for interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments.
• Investigating and assessing individuals' needs, abilities, and life situations.
• Making decisions on suitable interventions and following them up.
• Collaborating with other professions and actors in care work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work, or alternatively another equivalent education that we consider relevant for the position.

You have experience investigating persons with mental and physical disabilities according to IBIC.

You have good knowledge of current legislation, experience with documentation, and the ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing.

To be successful in the work, you must be stable and confident in yourself, contribute to a good collaboration climate, and be empathetic and clear in your meetings with users. It is also important that you have good judgment and that you drive your work in a structured and independent manner.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
