Your future challenge

We, within Systems Procurement, are a growing group of nearly 40 driven and engaged employees. We value our open and helpful climate and work actively on well-being within the department, and we want you to be part of that moving forward. The Systems Procurement department is divided into three different groups based on article categories, with Propulsion and Climate being one of them.

The role will, among other things, be responsible for one of our largest strategic suppliers in the propulsion area, which is in an extensive delivery and development phase. The tasks will primarily involve driving commercial dialogue with the supplier, setting requirements, and evaluating suppliers' ability to deliver in accordance with current and future technology and supply requirements. The role also includes negotiation, contracting, and building long-term plans, both internally and externally, for the systems and suppliers over time and through the vehicle's life cycle. This will be done in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

There is a strong focus on relationship building and strategic work, both to identify, prevent, and manage risks. This is achieved by creating conditions internally as well as towards the suppliers.

The person you are

We work in category teams composed of different roles and specialists. We are looking for you whose strength is communication, building good relationships, and creating long-term networks. You are goal-oriented and proactive, and you lead yourself and others in a structured and meticulous manner. Your planning ability is important; you are analytical and driven by creating good business outcomes. The ability to look up and work with both a long-term horizon and handle daily management to achieve results are skills that are important in this role.

You have an academic education, such as a Master of Science in Engineering, a Master of Science in Economics, or other relevant post-secondary education. We would appreciate if you have experience from a role with a commercial focus and have experience from procurement, sales, and/or project management, as well as an interest in technology. Experience within the automotive industry and/or the defense sector is meritorious. Since we are a global company, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
