Air Combat School seeks Planning Engineer for SK40 Aircraft System in Linköping

The Aircraft Systems Section of the Air Combat School (LSS) is looking for a Planning Engineer for the training aircraft SK40, based in Linköping.
The Swedish Air Force organizes and trains air, base, and command units. About the Position
The Planning Engineer (PI) is primarily responsible for maintenance monitoring and ordering of aircraft maintenance, and is responsible for monitoring operational utilization in relation to wear plans and occupancy plans.
Together with Material Planners/Technical Accounting, the role involves working with the operational planning and maintenance economics of material systems. The PI position also includes central tasks when the system operates from a single location.
The position is part of the air operator's technical organization, functionally led by the central technical manager via the Technical Manager for Material Systems (TCM SK 40). The technical organization is responsible for Continuing Airworthiness Management (LFL), which corresponds to the civil Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Monitoring and ordering maintenance
- Collaborating with maintenance suppliers
- Collaborating with Material Planners regarding the need for external maintenance
- Participating in IPT for Technical Orders (TO) and other publications
- Initiating, preparing, and producing maintenance planning to maintain continued airworthiness of in-use equipment
- Ordering airworthiness audits from authorized auditors
- Checking aircraft commissioning after base maintenance, supervising delivery walkthroughs, and performing commissioning checks
- Developing wear curves
- Participating in the procurement of maintenance contracts
- Preparing and working within "Maintenance agreements" with maintenance suppliers
- Participating in analyses of the maintenance program's efficiency
- Monitoring the material system's administrative data in follow-up systems
- Functionally leading Material Planners/Technical Accounting
Qualifications
- Aeronautical technical education, or a relevant engineering degree
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Class B driver's license

Merits:
- Experience in leadership within aircraft maintenance
- Experience working with IT systems used by the Swedish Armed Forces (FENIX, PRIO)
- Experience working with Swedish Armed Forces LFL and Air Operator procedures
- Training on the Grob G 120TP aircraft
