Are you a confident accounting professional who thrives in a complex and development-oriented environment? We are now looking for an Accounting Professional to join a Record to Report (R2R) team with one of Europe's leading players in the energy sector.

The R2R function is the hub for accounting expertise within the group, with a strong focus on quality and regulatory compliance. Here, you will work in a modern, expert-led operation that continuously optimizes its processes to meet future requirements for financial reporting.

For this role, you will be employed as a consultant by us at Randstad Finance.

Period: June 22, 2026 – May 31, 2027

Location: Solna (with possibilities for flexible work)

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for general ledger activities in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards, adhering to IFRS and statutory accounting rules.
• You act as a trusted accounting expert and collaborate closely with internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including our business process outsourcing partner.
• You drive the monthly and annual closing processes and ensure deadlines are met.
• You prepare financial reports and annual accounts for legal entities and manage the entire reporting process as well as the external audit process.
• You maintain a high standard of service quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all accounting activities.
• You participate in improvement work together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• University education in accounting, economics, or equivalent, with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation.
• 5–10 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organization or group.
• A team player with the ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner, driven and with good communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of the entire financial process, especially closing and reporting.
• Experience working with the accounting system SAP, FI/KIS (advantageous if S4) and the group reporting system Cognos.
• Experience working with MS Office products and advantageous experience with Capego (Annual Report).
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English.
