Levanda Personal Assistance is now seeking an engaged and empathetic personal assistant for a lovely client on the outskirts of Skara.

The client uses a wheelchair. As his personal assistant, you will assist him with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, household chores, etc. He requires significant support during the night, including assistance with turning. Your workplace is wherever the client is, both inside and outside the home. He enjoys video games and animals, among other things.

We are looking for you who are empathetic, responsive, and engaged. You are responsible and self-sufficient, meaning you can follow given instructions without needing supervision for every task. You enjoy working with people and see great value in helping others. You are seeking a long-term position where you have the opportunity to support a person in living the life he wants to live.

About the position:

• The client has 24/7 assistance with a waking night shift.
• Working hours are 08:00–20:00 and 20:00–08:00.
• This is a summer temporary position equivalent to 75% of a full-time role.

Your qualifications:

Experience within care and social services is advantageous, but the primary focus will be on your personal qualities, as the chemistry between you and the client will be the key to a long-term collaboration.

It is a plus if you have experience with autism and have previously worked with young adults.

Requirements:

• The client is looking for individuals aged 25 and above.
• Having a valid driver's license and access to your own car is mandatory.
