Welcome to us

We are looking for financial controllers for the Finance Unit within the HR Finance Department. The unit has 10 employees who work broadly with finance, procurement/purchasing, premises, and the fight against welfare fraud in the administration. The work is led by a department manager to whom you will report.

Your role

Together with other financial controllers and an accounting manager, you form a team that prepares the board's budget, quarterly reports, monthly reports, and annual accounts.

You are both a qualified support to managers and a control function in the operations' ongoing work with the budget for good and secure budget management with high forecast accuracy. You drive processes, work with revenue and cost monitoring, economic analyses, and short- and long-term forecasts.

The role also includes being able to lead or participate in projects, work with training initiatives towards the administration's managers, and be responsible for coordination tasks within the unit.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

  • a university or college education in economics
  • experience as a financial controller, including work with financial management such as follow-up, analysis, and reporting
  • very good IT skills
  • good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

  • worked in a politically governed organization
  • experience with systems such as Agresso (Agresso desktop), Hypergene, ILS, eDok, or Business Object
  • in-depth knowledge of Excel, including working with pivot tables
  • worked with finance within the City of Stockholm
