About Us

Welcome to us! Oxelösund Health Centre is looking for you who is a specialist in general practice or geriatrics. The health centre is well-established with approximately 9,100 registered residents. The health centre is centrally located in Oxelösund, close to nature and the sea, with good commuting opportunities and parking.

We offer reasonable assignments for specialists with a limited number of registered patients (1,000 per doctor). There are also opportunities for various side assignments, remote work, research, and competence development. We want to be the flexible workplace for our specialists.

The health centre has approximately 45 employees who agree that the centre's strengths are teamwork and good collaboration for our registered patients. Here work doctors, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehab coordinators, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. The medical group consists of specialists, ST-doctors (residents), and junior doctors, as well as continuously one to two AT-doctors (interns).

At Oxelösund Health Centre, we work in teams, with the goal that the patient gets to the right resource at the right time. We work to ensure that all our registered patients at the health centre have a fixed, named specialist doctor or ST-doctor and belong to a fixed team.

Your Responsibilities

The daily work at the health centre includes emergency reception, planned reception, and an on-call doctor function that answers questions during the day. You naturally collaborate with other professions at the health centre and serve as a supervisor for ST/AT-doctors. You are part of a medical group that together develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Certain on-call and standby duties are included.

Your Competence

• You are a licensed doctor and specialist in general practice, alternatively a final-year ST-doctor (resident), or a specialist in geriatrics.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a health centre and are interested in developing primary care.
• A B-driving license is desirable, but not a requirement.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment, full-time or part-time, with start date as agreed.
