Your role with us

As a Water and Wastewater Engineer with us, you will become a key person in the work of developing and improving the municipality's water infrastructure. We are looking for you with interest and competence in wastewater treatment and operations.

Responsibilities may include, among other things:

• Work towards sustainable, safe, and optimized operations.
• Inventory and analysis of facilities for maintenance planning.
• Risk analyses and action plans for safe and sustainable water purification processes.
• Be the link between daily operations, long-term planning, and future investments.
• Continuously improve and develop our working methods and processes.

You will become part of a knowledgeable and engaged team of 12 engineers, of whom five engineers work towards operations for the entire production from raw water intake to outgoing purified water to the recipient, together with operation technicians. We work closely together to solve complex challenges and build a sustainable water supply for the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineer with relevant education in Water and Wastewater (VA), environmental engineering, civil engineering, process industry, energy systems, or similar.
• Experience from the water sector or a politically governed organization is meritorious, but the most important thing is that you have the right drive and engagement.
• Communicates well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You thrive working with a structured approach and can analyze and prioritize effectively. As a person, you enjoy working both independently and in a team; you display a non-hierarchical attitude that promotes both improvements and the common goal. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent position.
