In the role of Land and Development Engineer, you hold a key position within the municipality. You are responsible for the municipality's land holdings, land acquisitions in municipal land, and on behalf of the municipality. Land and development belong to the Community Development Administration and are part of the Development Department, along with business development, rural development, and procurement. Our work is holistic and characterized primarily by a cross-functional approach throughout the entire municipality.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will also be involved in the development of the municipality's land reserve through acquisition, sales, and management. Other duties include land negotiations, as well as active work in the detailed planning process and the implementation issues of detailed plans.

You prepare development agreements and maintain ongoing contact with developers during the implementation of detailed plans.

You will also be involved in contact with the Swedish Land Survey (Lantmäteriet) as the municipality's representative and will have an important role in creating cross-organizational collaboration forms within the group for land and development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a relevant university education focused on urban planning and land surveying. You also have knowledge of property law, contract drafting, and urban planning.

It is also important that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written English as well as Swedish. A driver's license is required.

Several years of work experience in the field is an advantage.
