As a Operations Technician with us, you ensure that our water and wastewater systems function smoothly – every day, all year round. You will become part of a tight-knit team consisting of 6 operations technicians and 2 foremen, where we support and help each other in our daily work.
About the role
You will work with the operation, supervision, and maintenance of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and pipe networks. The work is varied and may involve troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance. You will also participate in projects, such as renovations and new constructions.
Assignments may take place in various locations depending on needs within our area, which includes Långå, Hede, Hedeviken, Vemdalen/Vemdalsskalet, Björnrike, and Vemhån.
On-call duty is included after the probationary period or when sufficient experience has been gained.
The position is full-time and permanent (probationary period may apply).
Start date by agreement, preferably no later than September 1, 2025.
About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to contribute to an important societal function.
You are responsible, enjoy solving problems, and can work both independently and collaboratively.
We expect you to have:
- A technical upper secondary education or equivalent
- Experience from water and wastewater (VA), industry, operations, or similar technical work
- A valid driver's license (Category B), with BE or C being an advantage
It is an advantage if you have:
- Education in water and wastewater operations technology
- Experience in pipe laying
- Familiarity with digital control systems
- Knowledge of electrical, control, and regulation technology
- Experience working with machinery such as chainsaws, brush cutters, tractors, and off-road vehicles
