Job Description
As a teacher with us, you will teach in small groups with extra adaptations based on each student's needs. We have our students for shorter or longer periods, and it is important to maintain a positive attitude and belief in each individual's developmental potential. You will collaborate with and receive support from other professional groups such as school counselors, treatment secretaries, treatment pedagogues, and psychologists. You should be drawn to the opportunity to teach and build trusting pedagogical relationships in smaller teaching groups consisting of students with psychosocial issues and criminal backgrounds. It is important that you can identify and meet the student's needs with high, realistic expectations, while motivating and guiding the student toward their goals. We appreciate that you are unpretentious, flexible, can set and maintain boundaries respectfully, and have faith that all students can find a path to education and work.
