Job Description

You will teach all four Social Science (SO) subjects. The teaching covers all grade levels, and you will share homeroom teacher responsibilities with a colleague. Each class consists of approximately 25 students. The position includes both subject teaching and active participation in the school's development work.

You will be part of both the subject team and the work team, where collaboration, joint planning, and collegial learning are central parts of our working method. We work with clear structures and systematic follow-up to create the best possible conditions for each student's learning and development.

Here, you will encounter a operation with a strong student health service, shared value bases (STAR), and a great commitment to creating a school where all students have the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is for every student to feel safe, included, and motivated to develop both academically and socially.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a teacher education and are qualified to teach in all three grade levels.
  • Are qualified in at least one Social Science (SO) subject for grades 7–9.
  • Have experience teaching in lower secondary school (meritorious).
  • Have the ability to lead and inspire groups of young people.
  • Are confident, clear, and a natural leader in the classroom.
  • Are solution-focused, structured, and quality-conscious.
  • Have a strong commitment to school development and want to contribute to our joint pedagogical journey.
  • Understand the importance of extra adaptations and meet each student based on their individual needs.
  • Have good collaboration skills but are also independent in your teaching.
  • Easily create good relationships with both students and colleagues.

We value that you have personal and professional maturity that allows you to stand firmly in your role, while remaining open to collegial learning and development. Personal suitability will be decisive in the selection process.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about developing young people and wants to inspire students to reach their full potential both academically and as individuals. Here, you become part of a dedicated subject and work team where clear leadership and the student's learning in focus are obvious starting points.

Teaching in lower secondary school means meeting students during a period of significant development. Therefore, we are looking for you who, with empathy, clarity, and structure, can meet each student where they are. You see the value of extra adaptations, both at the individual and class level, and understand how they contribute to more students reaching their goals regardless of starting point.

Employment Terms

Seasonal employment applies to the teaching positions. The school day starts at 07:50 and ends at 15:00.

  • Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
  • Duration: 6 months or longer.

Selection and interviews will take place continuously during the advertisement period!

We would appreciate it if you attached your degree certificate and license to your application.
