We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented business area controller for the Disability Department, Business Area Disability. Here you have the opportunity to work in an organization with a socially important mission.
Analysis, strategic management support, and development work
In your role as a controller at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you are responsible for ensuring that area managers and unit managers have access to the support required to lead and manage the operations. The role also involves handling both operations and finance. This means you are responsible for, among other things, analyzing and interpreting operational and financial results within your area of responsibility.
You serve as a central strategic support for the business area. At the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, we actively work on continuous improvements. You participate in or lead relevant forums and networks both within the department and at the agency level. The work also includes preparing materials for follow-up and contributing to development work within the business area. You are also part of the business area's management group. As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you maintain a high level of security awareness as the agency handles confidential information.

We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
- has specialist competence and expertise in economics and business management
- acts proactively and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- works to achieve high-quality results
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has a systematic and meticulous work approach.
It is an advantage if you
- have experience working as a controller at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency or within a larger government agency
- have experience using statistical software in previous roles
- have experience working with and analyzing data sets
- have experience leading groups in, for example, projects/teams.

Other Information
One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probationary period may apply. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted as part of this recruitment. Remote work opportunities exist if the role allows. In this recruitment, psychometric tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Unspecified (any office at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency).
