About the Squadron
The State Air Transport Squadron conducts strategic air transport with the mission of, among other things, transporting the Head of State and the country's highest civilian and military leadership. The air operations are carried out year-round to all corners of the world with high demands on availability and safety.
The squadron is now entering an intensive and exciting phase of development. In 2026, we will upgrade from today's air transport system TP102 to the state-of-the-art system TP106 – Global 6500. At the same time, there is a clear direction that our operations should grow to eventually serve as the platform for the Swedish Armed Forces' next-generation airborne command and control and reconnaissance capability with the S106 – Global Eye. We are now looking for you who want to help build this organization from the ground up – a journey that broadens today's strategic air operations with both an operational and tactical role in air defense.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of Administrator, your main responsibilities will be to support the company with, among other things, work time planning, shift planning, coordination of travel, education, and follow-up of periodic competence requirements for personnel. Your tasks will be varied; the work consists partly of routine tasks and partly of operational tasks that are processed with a short time horizon, as well as handling other ad hoc tasks. The work takes place both within F 7 and in contact with other units within the Swedish Armed Forces, other authorities, and organizations.
Qualifications
- Upper secondary education with passing grades.
- Previous experience in administrative work in the form of work as an administrator, executive assistant, or alternatively experience of similar tasks.
- Good computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Very good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English.
- Category B driver's license for manual transmission.
- Swedish citizenship and approved security and background check.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for you who are meticulous, receptive, and a good team player who is used to collaborating with others but also has the ability to work independently, structured, and proactively. As an administrative representative at the squadron and in your contacts within and outside the wing, there are demands for great integrity, a good attitude, and very good communication skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Merits
- Previous professional experience in the Swedish Armed Forces or another authority.
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' administrative support systems, e.g., SAP and Vidar.
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' contract collection.

Salary: We work with individual salary setting. The lowest placement for this position is 30,000 SEK, further we take previous work life experience and competence into account.
The position entails requirements for physical and mental capacity, carrying out business trips, participating in education, training in the war organization. Physical training is part of the tasks. Since both the position and tasks are linked to a war organization, you will also be war-placed. This means, among other things, that you will receive training in what is expected of you at a heightened state of readiness.
