As a Social Secretary at our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a holistic organization where all different units collaborate to help the citizens of Vansbro Municipality in the best possible way. We are a wonderful team, and you will become part of an environment where the individual(s) are in focus.

We offer flexible working hours, external supervision, and the possibility of remote work. All employees within the unit have the opportunity to participate in "Yrkesresan," a national introduction program for Social Secretaries working with Children and Youth.

You will:

• Process and investigate cases concerning children/youth and their families' need for support and protection based on current legislation following an application or report.
• Work with authority functions requiring legal certainty, a common approach, and equal assessments.
• Process cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), follow up on assessed support measures, and contribute to utilizing the family's own resources and solutions.
• Strive to ensure that the individuals we meet receive the help and support they need to live as independent a life as possible based on their own conditions.
• Be involved in the development of how Vansbro Municipality should work with the new Social Services Act.

You must have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Worker).
• Good documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of current legislation.
• Good ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).

A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record must be presented before employment.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working with BBIC, Signs of Safety, MI, ADAD, and Treserva.
• Experience working with people in vulnerable situations.
