Jobbtorg Stockholm is a department within the Labor Market Administration of Stockholm City that works with labor market measures. We provide support to young people and adults who are outside the labor market – through conversations, coaching, collaboration, and educational pathways. Around 500 employees work with us across 24 units throughout the city.

At our Focus on Studies and Health unit, you will become part of a well-knit, multiprofessional team consisting of colleagues with high engagement in the mission and the young people we work with. We help and support each other to achieve our common goals – more young people studying/working and completing upper secondary school.

This position involves working as a job coach within the Studio Form initiative, where you will be part of a group of five employees.

Our Mission

Studio Form is an initiative that complements other planning at Jobbtorg or KAA and consists of various parts such as music, health, and a technical-aesthetic workshop in a makerspace spirit. The target group is Jobbtorg and KAA youth aged 16–29, but older individuals may also participate due to the new activity requirement. The purpose of the initiative is to promote daily routines, motivation, well-being, and social cohesion to ultimately increase the participant's opportunities for work or studies. Young people coming to Studio Form often come to find routines, gain context, and find motivation to then be ready for the next step toward work and studies.

Where We Are

In your role, you will base your work from our beautiful premises in Alviks Strand, but you may also meet young people in our other offices around the city. Three employees currently operate from our existing activity in Johanneshov. You and one other employee will base your work from and build up our new activity in Alvik.

A Day With Us

A day might start with a team meeting with your colleagues, followed by a meeting with a participant interested in starting a creative interest. We meet with participants, collaborate with other initiatives, and celebrate successes together.

Your Role

Together, you are responsible for building up and developing the activity and its content, with the goal of inspiring and facilitating the participant's creative process. Together with your colleague in Alvik, you will create a new activity inspired by your colleagues' work in Johanneshov, adapted based on your unique competencies.

You are expected, based on your own technical and aesthetic competence, to have the ability to motivate and challenge participants within their individual areas of interest, with the long-term goal for the person to move forward toward work or studies. In working with the participant, you collaborate with representatives from other public activities and handle associated administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities:

• You meet participants where they are and motivate and inspire them to try new or develop existing creative forms of expression
• You work both independently and in teams with young people individually and in groups
• You collaborate with colleagues within the organization but also with external actors and employers
• You document continuously in the existing activity system according to guidelines.
• You support, motivate, and guide participants to find, obtain, and keep a job or studies with the aim of becoming self-sufficient.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for you who have previous experience working with people from a pedagogical approach that creates participation, motivation, and inspiration, starting from aesthetic, technical, or digital creation. You can naturally motivate participants to try new technical or aesthetic tools and modes of expression. This can be through expressions such as image and form, music production, or 3D printing.

• Academic education with a focus on behavioral science, social studies, sociology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with technical activities such as 3D printing, design, music production, or other aesthetic crafts.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.
