About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Willingness to work for a 16-year-old boy residing in Grängesberg.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Non-smoker during working hours.
• Good physical condition.
• Category B driver's license and access to a car (to get to the workplace).

Merits for the position:

• Experience in similar work.
• Experience working with children/young people.
• Experience with epilepsy.
• Experience with alternative communication.
• Experience working with challenging behaviors.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 75%. Working hours vary and are scheduled during the day, evening, and night, both on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
