Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you who are calm, patient, sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for you who match the following:

• Want to work for a male client in Falköping, in his early 70s.
• Have very good experience in care and nursing.
• Have very good physical fitness and can perform transfers.
• Are easy to work with, calm, patient, and highly responsible.
• Have a car and driver's license to commute to work.

The following are also meritorious:

• Experience in similar work or education with care experience.
• Experience with alternative communication.
• Non-smoker.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, extent of employment, and salary:

The current form of employment is a "summer temporary position" at 90% full-time between the period June 22 – August 2. However, we would appreciate it if you could start an introduction or hourly work immediately.

Varying working hours during the day, evening, and weekends. Shifts are between 07:00–20:00 with a 1-hour break, 08:30–20:30 some evenings until 22:00. Double assistance is sometimes required.

Salary according to collective agreement. Selection is ongoing, so do not wait with your application.
