Job Responsibilities

This role is one of three new key positions strengthening the IT/OT organization at the combined heat and power plant, where you, together with both new and existing colleagues, will help build, influence, and shape a completely new position.

As System Responsible for OT, you have overall responsibility for lifecycle, functionality, and security in the plant's OT and SCADA environments. The role is central to ensuring stable and secure production and involves close collaboration with operations, maintenance, automation, and IT.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the operation, availability, and stability of OT systems at the combined heat and power plant
• Manage and further develop control systems, HMI, control room computers, and OT hardware
• Monitor operational status and support operations personnel in troubleshooting, alarms, and incidents
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance, upgrades, and phase-outs
• Work with lifecycle planning, version management, and compatibility checks
• Manage OT configurations, process graphics, and technical documentation
• Act as the client and requirement setter for complex OT changes
• Work on OT security, including patching, backup, permissions, and incident management
• Collaborate with IT regarding networks, servers, backup, and logging
• Coordinate suppliers and system partners and support OT-related projects

Education Requirements

Post-secondary education in automation, electrical power, industrial IT, or computer science. Several years of relevant practical experience in OT environments can substitute for formal education.

Valid Driver's License Category B

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Experience working with OT systems in operation-critical environments
• Good understanding of industrial processes and OT environments
• Knowledge of OT networks, servers, and backup
• Experience in troubleshooting and collaboration with operations, IT, and suppliers

Meritorious

• Experience with OT and IT/OT security, preferably according to IEC 62443
• Experience with ABB xA800
• Experience with lifecycle management, upgrades, or system changes
• Experience from the energy sector or other critical societal functions

Working within Bodens Energi means working with socially important activities, and therefore, a background check is conducted for many of the positions in our operations before employment.
