Controller Assignment in Analysis, Reporting, and Business Control

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Controller for a consultancy assignment with a major organization in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you who wish to combine traditional controlling work with the development of reporting, analysis, and decision support in a business-close environment.

The company is in a period with a high focus on follow-up, forecasting, and further development of financial processes. You will work closely with finance and business functions, contributing both operationally and strategically within financial control and analysis.

The role requires that you can quickly get up to speed with new operations, understand complex information, and transform data into relevant decision-making materials.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Work with budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up
• Produce analyses and business-close decision support materials
• Further develop reporting and visualization in Power BI
• Ensure quality in financial data and reporting
• Identify opportunities for improvement within processes and data quality
• Participate in the development of existing working methods within controlling and follow-up
• Document reporting structures, processes, and change work
• Work in multiple system environments and handle complex data flows

We are looking for someone who

• Has an academic education in economics or similar
• Has several years of experience as a Business Controller or equivalent
• Is confident in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Has very good experience with Power BI and report development
• Has a good understanding of accounting and financial relationships
• Is accustomed to working independently in complex system environments
• Can quickly get up to speed with new operations and information flows

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with the development of processes within budgeting and forecasting, as well as experience in business-close analysis and reporting.

• Start: Immediately
• Scope: Approximately 100%
• Duration: Initially until the turn of the year with possibility of extension
• Location: Stockholm with a hybrid setup
• Flexibility regarding summer holiday is available
