About the job

As an EA with a focus on business and information architecture, and as part of the Swedish Tax Agency's architecture governance, you are a key person in the work towards the target architecture and the shift the Swedish Tax Agency is making towards an information-driven and digitalized operation. You operate at the intersection of business and IT and contribute to creating a shared understanding between different perspectives. You support development within the personal taxation domain and contribute to meeting today's and tomorrow's requirements. You work together with other EAs within and around the domain. The role also includes supporting and, if necessary, driving individual development initiatives.

The Swedish Tax Agency uses SAFe as an agile framework. You collaborate with system architects and development teams to get their input, understand their business, and contribute to their ability to apply and realize target and conceptual architecture. The work largely involves dialogue and collaboration with various teams. You also support management functions in target and strategic work.

We expect that you have experience with, and are comfortable describing, the benefits of architecture and clarifying its contribution in a pedagogical and clear way that the recipient understands.

Your tasks as an EA involve being responsible for planning and coordinating architecture work and driving the work forward together with others. We expect you to be strategically forward-looking and have experience supporting the business in vision and goal work, as well as being able to translate visions into architectural target images and identify paths forward. You also have the ability to take initiative for the next step, even when the target image and prerequisites are not fully defined. You also have experience leading workshops and creating documentation of architecture concepts based on business capabilities.

You belong to the Development Unit in the Personal Taxation Department. The department operates in several locations. Possible locations for the position are Sundbyberg, Gothenburg, Malmö, Örebro, or Västerås. Approximately 30 colleagues work at the unit, and you are part of the EA team, which currently consists of three members within business, information, and IT architecture.

About you

In this job, you should:

• be goal-focused and contribute to achieving the purpose of the business

• see the big picture and understand the importance of details and be able to make delimitations
• have good leadership skills where you can take initiative and drive work based on specific situations
• have the ability to collaborate and build relationships, to be pragmatic and listen to other people's perspectives
• be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions.

You must also have:

• a university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in a relevant area, or alternatively several years of current work experience in qualified work in a field relevant to the position
• several years of current, practical, and relevant work experience in business and/or information architecture at the enterprise level in a large, complex IT environment
• several years of current and relevant work experience in developing and driving architectural target images and developing roadmaps at the strategic and tactical level
• current work experience in communicating and anchoring architecture, as well as pedagogically explaining the purpose and value of architecture for different target groups.

It is desirable that you have certification in business architecture, information architecture, or another corresponding certification relevant to the role. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience and competence in modeling tools. In addition, it is desirable that you have certification or current and relevant experience in change management and/or project management.

The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-class tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
