About the RoleYou will join a development project for a large public swimming facility with high demands on both daily operations and competitive capacity. The environment needs to function for recreation, swimming instruction, club activities, and national-level events, while the design, flows, and functionality must maintain a consistent and well-thought-out quality throughout the entire facility.
In this role, you provide qualified advice and quality assurance within swimming hall environments. You examine how different surfaces and functions connect, from the entrance and reception to pools, changing rooms, café and gathering areas, as well as the visitor's path through the facility. The work is carried out in close dialogue with the client and requires you to balance operational needs, technology, operations, economics, experience, and national standards.

Responsibilities- You ensure the quality of the design, placement, and function of the facility's various swimming hall sections and surrounding areas.
- You analyze flows and movement patterns to ensure the facility works for both daily operations and competitions.
- You provide expert support in matters concerning swimming and bathing facilities during the development process.
- You weigh together operational planning, architecture, technology, operations, and economics in your recommendations.
- You maintain ongoing dialogue with the client, address questions, and provide material that can be revised if necessary.
- You produce a final written report with your assessments and recommendations.
- You have at least 5 years of experience with investigations related to public buildings such as swimming or sports halls.
- You have experience with investigations for future constructions of at least two bathing facilities in early stages, with reports to the client and operations as a basis for further planning.
- You have strong competence in swimming and bathing halls and experience from planning, implementation, and operations.
- You have knowledge of architecture, technology, operational needs, economics, experience, and function related to bathing facilities.
- You have knowledge of water quality and hygiene, logistics, and flows.
- You have good knowledge of standards and requirements within swimming hall construction.
- You are well-versed in lifecycle costs and operational costs.
- You can demonstrate experience from at least three relevant projects where you have participated from the early stage to at least the design phase with operational planning as an external party together with the client.
- In at least two of these projects, you have participated in the startup of operations after renovation, extension, and/or new construction in bathing facilities with a size of at least 8,000 sqm or 400,000 annual visitors.
- You have extensive experience in developing and building swimming facilities and in maintaining dialogue with both club activities and municipal actors.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish.
