We are a newly launched business area within Sigma, focusing on supporting and leadership roles in technology, systems, quality, supply chain, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The Role of Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer with us, you have the opportunity to work in various roles such as SQE, QE, SQM, etc. You will be able to work either close to production or close to suppliers. You will combine technology, structure, and problem-solving in assignments tailored to your profile and experience. Typical tasks may include:

Supplier-Centric Quality Work

• Ensure that the customer's purchasing strategy, policies, and processes are followed, and take responsibility for quality requirements in RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Participate in supplier selection and purchasing preparation work, analyze suppliers' quality outcomes, and initiate improvement programs.
• Handle complaints regarding non-conforming material, drive root cause analysis, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
• Create and maintain control plans and quality scopes, and collaborate closely with internal quality and purchasing functions; travel within Sweden and Europe occurs.

Production-Centric Quality Work

• Support production in quality assessment and handling of deviations in purchased material.
• Drive complaints and root cause analyses together with suppliers and ensure that corrective/preventive actions are carried out and followed up.
• Participate in and drive improvement work related to quality, processes, and flows, as well as develop quality routines and working methods.
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, design, and other quality functions to secure efficient quality work throughout the entire value chain.

• Educated as an Engineer in fields such as Industrial Economics, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Production, or Systems Engineering. A Master's or Civil Engineer degree is meritorious.
• Enjoy order, structure, and problem-solving in technology-intensive environments.
• Communicative and thrive when collaborating with different functions and competencies.
• Quick to learn new tools, systems, and working methods.
• Unpretentious and curious – you see opportunities and enjoy variety in daily life.
• Want to broaden your scope across several different roles and develop alongside the assignments.

Personal Skills, Traits, Experience

• An engineer in Industrial Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Production, Logistics, or equivalent.
• Hold a Master's or Civil Engineer degree (meritorious but not required).
• Enjoy structure, analysis, and solving complex problems.
• Thrive when collaborating with different functions, from production to purchasing and design.
• Learn new tools, systems, and methods quickly. Meritorious if you have knowledge in 8D, DMAIC, 6σ, RCA, MSA, FMEA, or similar quality tools.
• Unpretentious, curious, and enjoy a varied daily life.
• Want to develop in several areas and take on greater responsibility over time.
• Fluent in Swedish and English – both spoken and written.
