We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our lovely team this summer and work as a personal assistant for our female client in Askersund.

What does this position involve?

With this client, you will be a supportive and helpful hand. You will motivate and accompany the client in their daily life, participate in daily activities, and provide support at home in the apartment.

The client is a person who enjoys music and animals. She does not have a verbal language but communicates using sign support and pictures – experience in this area is advantageous. The client needs help with all aspects of daily life, such as laundry, cleaning, cooking, and hygiene.

The client has autism and relies on routines and clarity in daily life. In this role, you may encounter unexpected situations, so it is important that you, as an assistant, feel secure and confident in yourself. The staff team works based on a low-arousal approach, where daily routines are of great importance.

We believe that you, as a candidate, have great patience and a good ability to read other people and stay one step ahead. We will place extra emphasis on your communication skills and understanding of others.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and sensitive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would prefer that you:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• can understand and communicate in Swedish.
• can work night shifts with on-call duties in the client's home.
• have experience in care and elderly care (a plus, but not a requirement).
• have experience with sign and/or picture support.
• have experience with low-arousal work methods.

Other information

Employment type: Hours as needed, plus a possible scheduled period over the summer.

Scope: Approximately 50% or as needed.

Working hours: 24-hour shifts from 15:00 to 15:00.

Start date: According to agreement.

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
