The Social Services Administration in Skinnskatteberg Municipality is now looking for a Business Strategist with a focus on creating structure, direction, and long-term development in our operations and digital support.
With us, you will have a key role in developing the future Social Services Administration together with engaged colleagues and managers.
The Social Services Administration in Skinnskatteberg covers individual and family care, elderly care, disability support, as well as health care. Here, around 150 engaged employees work every day to create a safe and dignifying social services for those we exist to serve. Responsibilities
As a Business Strategist, you have a strategic key role in developing and holding together the overall picture of the Social Services Administration's operations, processes, and system support. You work at a comprehensive level to translate goals and needs into structures, principles, and choices that enable efficient and sustainable organizational development.
The role focuses on the 'what' and 'why' of development, rather than the 'how' in daily operational work.
You work closely with management and operations and are part of the Social Services Administration's management group.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Qualified investigative work, Socially Responsible Coordinator (SAS)
- Develop and manage overarching visions and structures for organizational development
- Create and communicate a cohesive picture of operations, processes, information flows, and system support
- Transform complex needs and relationships into clear decision support for management
- Support prioritization and steering of development initiatives based on operational benefit and goals
- Contribute to the development of strategic choices for digital support
- Identify development needs and opportunities for efficiency and quality improvement
- Project management and procurement
Qualifications
- Relevant university education (e.g., social worker, nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist).
- Several years of experience in strategic work within organizational development
- Documented experience in leading and driving projects at a strategic or cross-organizational level
- Has knowledge and several years of experience in change and project management.
- Experience working with complex organizations and creating structure in change
- Very good ability to analyze, structure, and communicate complex information
Merits:
- Experience from the public sector
- Educated occupational therapist or within rehabilitation
- Experience in quality management, e.g., SAS or MAR.
- Experience in process leadership, e.g., mapping, analyzing, developing operational processes
- Experience working with benefit calculations
- Education or certification in project and/or process management
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and easy to collaborate with. You thrive switching between a helicopter view and detail level, and are used to working both independently and in teams. You are confident in formulating complex issues clearly, both orally and in writing.
You are structured and can translate complex issues into clear and useful decision support.
You have very good communication skills and build trust at different levels in the organization. You are confident in challenging existing ways of working and driving development forward in an inclusive manner.
You have good knowledge of LSS, SoL, HSL, and public administration, as well as knowledge of or experience with health care and relevant legislation. Experience in development work within care or care-related operations is an advantage.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
Working Hours/Duration
The position is permanent and start date is by agreement.
