Are you an experienced Corporate Accountant with solid expertise in accounting and taxation? Do you want to work in a business where quality, business understanding, and development are in focus? Then this could be your next exciting assignment.

We are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant for a consulting assignment with an established organization in Västerås. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations and contribute qualified economic competence in a central function.

You will serve as support to the Corporate Controller and work with accounting issues from a holistic perspective. The role entails significant responsibility for quality assurance, reporting, and compliance with current regulations and accounting principles.

• Support the Corporate Controller in accounting and reporting matters

• Ensure that accounting follows internal guidelines, legal requirements, and accounting principles

• Participate in and drive projects related to finance and accounting

• Prepare, document, and quality-assure financial reporting

• Work proactively with improvement initiatives and efficiency measures

• Collaborate with various parts of the business on accounting-related matters

• Contribute expertise in taxation, accounting, and regulations

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work

• Academic education in economics, such as a Master of Science in Engineering and Economics or equivalent

• Very good knowledge of accounting and taxation

• Good understanding of the Annual Accounts Act (ÅRL), Bookkeeping Act (BFL), Income Tax Act, and Value Added Tax Act

• Basic knowledge of IFRS

• Good system proficiency and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

• Experience from the real estate industry

• Experience from large organizations or group environments
