We are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant for a consultancy assignment with a well-established organization in Västerås. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations and contribute qualified economic expertise in a central function.

You will act as support to the Company Accountant and work with accounting issues from a holistic perspective. The role involves significant responsibility for quality assurance, reporting, and compliance with current regulations and accounting principles.

• Support the Company Accountant in accounting and reporting matters

• Ensure that accounting follows internal guidelines, legal requirements, and accounting principles

• Participate in and drive projects related to finance and accounting

• Prepare, document, and ensure quality of financial reporting

• Work proactively with improvement initiatives and efficiency measures

• Collaborate with various parts of the organization on accounting-related issues

• Contribute expertise within tax, accounting, and regulations

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work

• An academic education in economics, such as a Master of Science in Engineering and Economics or equivalent

• Very good knowledge of accounting and taxation

• Good understanding of the Swedish Annual Accounts Act (ÅRL), Bookkeeping Act (BFL), Income Tax Act, and Value Added Tax Act

• Basic knowledge of IFRS

• Good system proficiency and very good skills in Microsoft Office

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

• Experience from the real estate industry

• Experience from large organizations or group environments
