Your new role

We are now looking for a Corporate Accountant for a consultancy assignment with our client in Västerås.

This is a role for you who have extensive experience in qualified accounting work and want to work closely with the company manager on matters concerning accounting, quality, reporting, and improvement work. You will support the work for one of the client's companies and contribute with a holistic perspective on the accounting.

In the role, you will participate in and drive projects as well as handle arising questions to ensure that the accounting maintains high quality and follows internal and external accounting principles, legal requirements, and routines. You will also have ongoing dialogue with other parts of the organization regarding current accounting issues and contribute input to improvement measures.

Your main tasks will include, among other things:

• Support the company manager in accounting-related matters.
• Ensure quality in accounting, documentation, and reporting.
• Participate in and drive projects related to accounting and improvement work.
• Ensure that the accounting follows internal and external accounting principles as well as legal requirements.
• Have ongoing dialogue with other parts of the organization regarding current accounting issues.
• Contribute input to improvement measures and development of working methods.
• Work with qualified accounting work with a holistic perspective.

To be successful in this role you need

• You have experience in qualified accounting work.
• You have very good accounting and tax knowledge.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish Companies Act (ÅRL), Bookkeeping Act (BFL), Income Tax Act, and Value Added Tax Act.
• You have a basic understanding of IFRS.
• You have good IT and system proficiency as well as good knowledge of the Office suite.
• You have good communication skills, both in groups, individual conversations, and in writing.
• You have very good collaboration skills.
• You are a Candidate of Science in Economics (Civilekonom) or have similar education/experience.
• It is meritorious if you have experience from the real estate industry.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
