Are you a secure person who spreads joy and enjoys being an important support in the background? Right now, I am looking for dedicated hourly substitutes and summer substitutes who want to become part of my daily life – with the chance for a longer substitute position later this year!

Who am I?

I am a 35-year-old guy living just outside central Falun. I am a social person who appreciates good community and spending time with my family and friends. My life consists of everything from quiet evenings at home to activities like bowling and walks.

Since I use a wheelchair and have some medical needs, I need you who can support me practically so that I can live my life exactly as I want.

Your role in my daily life

As my personal assistant, you are my practical support in everything from daily chores to medical tasks. The work involves:

• Communication support: I speak for myself, but since my speech is not always completely clear, I need you to support me with small words and help clarify when needed.

• Social companionship: You join me when I socialize with my family or when we find activities outside the home.

• Medical care: You help me with all personal care, toilet visits, showering, transfers, as well as handling a tracheostomy (track) and tube feeding via PEG.

  You will, of course, receive a thorough introduction on-site so that you feel completely secure with the medical tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are stable, happy, and unpretentious. You are a person who has a fingertip feel for when to step forward and when to stay a bit in the background.

We are looking for you who:

• Are secure in yourself and can create a calm and positive atmosphere.

• Have patience and are receptive in communication.

• Enjoy working both day shifts and awake night shifts.

• Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but we place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Practical information

• Working hours: Hourly substitute as needed. Day shifts (07:00–19:00) and awake night shifts (19:00–07:00).

• Location: Central Falun (no driver's license required).
