About the position

In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functioning Disabilities). Every person who is granted assistance is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You value the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. It is the customer's individual needs that dictate the workday, and the work can, for example, involve help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.

To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer. Each assistance assignment is unique, and it is the customer's individual needs that determine what you do and how the working hours are structured. During the recruitment process, we will therefore learn more about you and who you are to have the opportunity to find a mutual match between you and the customer. You will be informed during the recruitment process about which customer(s) you will be working with and what the routines look like there.

At Humana, it is important that both you as a new assistant and the customer feel secure in your collaboration with each other. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will be working with.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are good at building good relationships, have a strong commitment, want to take responsibility, and adapt easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chance that we can match you with the right assignment.

Working hours and degree of employment

As a summer temporary worker, you will work on a temporary basis with a schedule with one or more of our customers. You will work overnight shifts or shifts of 16–18 hours.

Start date

There may be an opportunity to start as an hourly temporary worker before the summer temporary position begins. Please indicate in your application if this is interesting for you and when you would have the opportunity to start. The start date for the summer temporary position is otherwise by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents that prove the right to work in Sweden. To be able to work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the police's criminal record register prior to a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.

What happens now?

During the recruitment process, you will be informed about which customer(s) you are considered for and what the work routines look like more specifically.
