Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees meet with around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools throughout the municipality every day. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

Högom School is a F-6 school with just over 160 students and an associated after-school center activity. The school is beautifully located in the central district of Granlo. We have a dedicated staff that works purposefully together to give students the opportunity to reach their full potential and enjoy school. With the right support and challenges, we help every student develop and achieve good results. In close collaboration with guardians, we guide and support students in their pursuit of reaching knowledge goals.

How you contribute in the role of teacher

One position is a vacation cover position shared between preschool class and after-school center. You teach and have mentorship in our preschool class in the mornings and have the remainder of the position at our after-school center. The other position is a holiday cover position as a teacher in grades 4-6 in math, Swedish, English, and Natural Sciences or Social Studies. This position also includes mentorship.

Your competence and experience

You have a teaching license and adequate education for teaching in the respective positions. You motivate and inspire students and work with relational leadership together with your colleagues. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on science and proven experience. We want to create the best conditions for learning through varied, inclusive, and student-centered teaching that meets each student in their knowledge progression. It is important that you thrive in a collaborative way of working and see the strength in planning and reflecting together with colleagues.
